OUR SCHOOL OFFERS  SAILING COURSES LEADING TO CANADIAN YACHTING ASSOCIATION (CYA) CERTIFICATION, SAILING EXPERIENCES AND  SAILING CHARTERS IN CALGARY, ALBERTA OR OUT OF SIDNEY, BC.  SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE WHETHER YOU NEED  LESSONS OR ARE JUST ALONG FOR THE ADVENTURE.

Courses Offered
bullet SPARK Start   -- Introduction and accredited Canadian Coast Guard Boating Safety course that yields a Pleasure Craft Operator's Card (PCOC) required for operating any pleasure craft or  vessel with a motor in Canada.  Now required for everyone in vessel less than 4 meters with power or under age of 16.
bullet BASIC CRUISING --  Register for Next Year's course starting 2009 April 20.  Make it a Christmas present.    Theory and practical course for beginners.  Special arrangements can be made for a West Coast Course -- pricing varies.
bullet COASTAL NAVIGATION -- Designed to keep you safe in coastal waters.   Next course starts September 23 -- Correspondence Course Available 
bullet INTERMEDIATE CRUISING -- Designed to make you comfortable on a cruising yacht.   REGISTER FOR OUR 2009 Courses --  Starts January 26 2009!!   
bullet GPS & ELECTRONIC CHARTS SEMINAR   Seminar on November 1, 2008.    -- This is a one day seminar to help the novice learn the basics of GPS and Electronic Charts.  Helps to plan for the Christmas present.
bullet ADVANCED CRUISING      Looking for Fall Candidates Now!!!   -- Enable you to handle all kinds of weather, day or night.
bullet MARITIME VHF RADIO COURSE -- Leads to your Restricted Marine Operators Certificate,  necessary for using Marine radios.  Includes DSC Endorsement   Next Class October 18 & 25 --  Register or leave your name so we call you with details. 
bullet INSTRUCTOR (RE)CERTIFICATIONS --For people who wish to share the sport.  Registrations must be in by mid-February.
   
Charters Offered
bullet SKIPPERED -- You join us on a super holiday on a cruising yacht in exotic ports.
bullet ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT CRUISES --      BOOK NOW!!!  Most of the holiday weekends are gone.    You join us for an extended weekend and we'll take you away from all those woes back at home with healthy injections of island life while cruising in some of the world's most exotic ports.  September Cruising is Great!!
bullet DAY EXPERIENCES -- Am I a Sailor?  Do I really want to get involved in Sailing?  Try it for a day before you commit.
bullet BAREBOAT -- We can help you arrange or discuss bareboat charters.
